We Are Looking For Business Managers

We Are Looking For Business Managers

Ever thought about the most underrated role in every growing business and why you can’t scale any business without it?

What if I tell you the CEO is nothing without this one role…?

Enyi’m…

Let me tell you something you probably already know…

Every good business in the world — no matter the industry, location, or size — is desperately looking for good managers.

Not just titles. Not placeholders. Real stewards.

People who can run a business unit, a team, a department, or an entire operation with wisdom, discipline, and accountability.

People who understand how to manage others, manage themselves, and manage results.

We talk a lot these days about entrepreneurs, CEOs, founders, influencers, coaches, and consultants.

But let’s be honest — none of those titles mean much if there are no great managers behind the scenes turning ideas into systems, goals into execution, and vision into reality.

It’s not the entrepreneur that sustains a business.

It’s the manager!

It’s not the founder that keeps the team running, customers happy, and operations smooth.

It’s the manager!

And here’s the truth most people ignore:

Most founders don’t make good managers.

You know this. I know this: really great entrepreneurs are driven, passionate and obsessed with building something that could change the world. But they don’t always possess the traits, patience and skill for management.

They can start the fire, yes. But they rarely have the patience, structure, or systems mindset to keep it burning.

That’s why the real gap in the business world today isn’t another guru.

It’s not another CEO.

It’s not even another idea.

What we’re short of… is stewards… which is the bible word for “good managers.”

These are men and women who can step in, take ownership, and run a business like it’s theirs — even if it’s not.

Once a business begins to see any form of success — the first thing the owner realizes is:

“I can’t keep doing everything myself.”

That’s the turning point.

That’s when they start looking… and hoping… for someone who can take the reins and manage the people, the systems, the budgets, the chaos — and bring structure and efficiency.

They’re not looking for stars.

They’re looking for steady hands.

Ore me…

There’s this story I’ve seen play out too many times.

A young entrepreneur starts a business.

Maybe it’s a small bakery. Or a tech startup (everybody is into “tech startup” these days). Or a fashion brand. You know the list…

In the beginning, it’s just them and a dream.

They do everything: bake the bread, handle social media, reply to customers, do the accounting, run deliveries, and even mop the floor at night.

And at first — it works.

The hustle pays off.

Clients start coming in. People love the product. Money starts to show up in the account.

Then the pressure begins.

You hire one or two people to help.

But they can’t read your mind. They’re not as fast. Not as committed.

So now, you’re doing your job and managing theirs.

You start missing deadlines. Quality slips. The customers begin to complain.

You’re still working hard, but it doesn’t feel like progress anymore. It feels like survival.

You thought things would get easier once you made money.

But now, you’re drowning in admin, late-night calls, backlogs, angry customers, and burnt-out team members.

And then it hits you:

The problem isn’t your product. It’s not marketing. It’s not even funding.

The real issue is that you don’t have a manager. Or you don’t have a good manager!

Someone to oversee the daily madness.

Someone who knows how to organize people, manage performance, and keep the team accountable.

Someone who can run the business, so you can build the vision.

But finding that person? That’s the hardest part.

Most people want a job.

Few want responsibility.

Even fewer know how to manage systems, people, processes, and results.

And that’s the painful lesson so many founders learn:

You don’t scale a business with more ideas.

You scale with more managers — skilled, trusted, empowered stewards.

Managers will be in demand across every industry.

Tech, healthcare, education, retail, manufacturing, media, finance — small businesses, family businesses, multinational corporations…

They all have one thing in common: they are constantly searching for reliable people who can manage teams, lead departments, and grow operations without needing to be chased every day.

And if you’re someone who’s been quietly handling people, projects, resources, and results without making noise — you may not realize it yet, but you are the very person the future of business depends on.

So if you’ve ever wondered where your real value lies…

Or if you feel like you’re not the “visionary” type, but you’re good with people, structure, and execution…

Lean into it.

Because management is a calling. And the world is waking up to just how important it is.

“Then the LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to manage, tend, dress, work, keep it and maximize it.”

Genesis 2:15
